It is a priviledge to serve as your representative on the board of the Orange County Water District.  For the past eight years I have worked to insure that our drinking water is the purist available in California.  I am a licensed Civil Engineer and have used my training to scrutinize the technical and financial aspects of all district operations.  We are fortunate to have a very dedicated and motivated staff that fulfills our mission to deliver high quality water and the lowest possible price.

In January 2008, we opened a new water treatment facility called the Groundwater Replenishment System.  This project is the largest of it's kind in the world, and produces 70 million gallons a day of near distilled quality water.  This is enough to serve 500,000 people every year. With the drought conditions in Southern California, this facility helps to alleviate overdrafting of the groundwater basin.  If you would like a tour of the facility in Fountain Valley, please contact me.
