It is a privilege to serve as your representative on the Orange City Council.  For the past four years I have worked to insure that our quality of life is maintained.  I am a licensed Civil Engineer and have used my training to scrutinize the technical and financial aspects of all city operations.  We are fortunate to have a very dedicated and motivated staff that protects the public's safety and delivers quality services to our residents.

I am also fortunate to serve as a Director on the Orange County Water District.  In January 2008, we opened a new water treatment facility called the Groundwater Replenishment System.  This project is the largest of it's kind in the world, and produces 65 million gallons a day of near distilled quality water.  This is enough to serve 500,000 people every year. With the drought conditions in Southern California, this facility helps to alleviate overdrafting of the groundwater basin.  If you would like a tour of the facility in Fountain Valley, please contact me.

I thank you for the opportunity to serve.
